Building in Clive
A city in a greenbelt.
Clive sits between Urbandale and West Des Moines, across Polk and Dallas counties, and the Clive Greenbelt Trail follows Walnut Creek through the middle of it. It is a city where the setting matters, and where a new home has to earn its place.
We design every home around its lot and the way you live. Our own design team draws every home in-house, and we refine the design with you through each revision. Then we build it for one fixed price, not cost-plus, covering design, permits, site work, the house, finishes, landscaping and pools.

The lot
Already own land in Clive? We can build on it, including site work and utilities, or help you find the right lot.
The neighbors
Clive borders Urbandale, so our studio is just up the road.
Yes. We design and build custom homes in Clive and across central Iowa, from our studio in neighboring Urbandale.
Can you build on a lot we already own?
Yes. Build on your own lot or let us help you find one. We handle site work, utilities, the house, landscaping and pools.
Is it cost-plus?
No. Every home is built for one fixed price, not cost-plus, because clients shouldn’t have to worry about surprise cost overruns.
Who designs it?
Our own design team draws every home in-house, and we refine the design with you through each revision.
How long will it take?
Every home is different. Timing depends on your design, your lot and the size of the home, and larger homes take longer. We talk it through with you at your first visit.
